Vision part 2

God is good...
this week as we attended the super cluster, God poured into us,(Julie and I) a sharpened vision of what our preferred future is going to look like at our church.

We've bitten off what we think we can chew...and bitten the bullet, so to speak, and have now set it and started casting it everywhere.

We currently have around 125 connected in church gatherings each week, 55 Tuesdays, and 70 on Sundays, and we are believing God, for another 1875 people to join our church over the next 10 years, we will do everything we can to bring them in and get them connected.
It represents just 10% of our population, left - after allowing generously for other church ministries ... sadly, it leaves 90%- around 18,000 people without a church, and that's based on today's population stats, which is expected to grow to over 80,000 in the next 10 years...we know its not enough, but for us that will mean 10 weekly services and that's a big call at this stage of our lives, but one we are believing for and praying for and leading at.
Every week when there is a new face in our church its one more we can tick off our expected number(1875), today, there was a new lady in church and last week, 2 brand new Christians saved. We are heading in the right direction and have a lot of work to do...but we will get there, coz God is leading us. He has never failed us yet, and with Him leading, and giving us vision, and us partnering in His cause, we will win.

A big and doubtful vision ? NO WAY...it's just that if you haven't yet seen anything like it, it must mean it's faith.
Faith is being of something you cant yet see, and no -one has seen an Aussie corps grow like this before in the modern era... so with a mustard size faith,a big heart and a huge vision and a tremendous God,
