Sometimes I wonder if the only way to get conversation going is to be controversial.
a blog is an interesting thing and I find it a good way to share my thoughts and feelings, frustrations and dreams...and also to share great news about whats going on in my life.
however I am also aware that it (the blog) becomes a way of measuring someone against another persons values and I suppose that's OK, but really, in a blog do you really know who the other person is anyway? Have we really replaced normal relationships by becoming electronic and having computer "affairs"?
just me thinking out loud....(again)
I got to thinking about everything that God is doing around me at the minute, and its pretty awesome... but I also became aware that to share it, may discourage someone as much as it may encourage someone..
all I can then say is that God is awesome I love what He is doing and hope he does more in my life and ministry as I pray He does in yours.
I am going to give up making comments on others blogs,I think,...after all who do I think I am to have an opinion, and then to measure myself against another, based on a blog... ????
does anybody get my drift ? maybe not...maybe I am just getting too old for this blogging thing...
after all nothing is as real as a one on one conversation...and better still, having that with our awesome God.
yeah, you are allowed to have an opinion, I guess that's why so many use the blog thing, I sure have one, (an opinion that is)and even if no-one else agrees with my opinion, I don't really care...after all that's how my creator made me...to think for myself, to work it out for myself and to dream big dreams for myself and the place that God has placed me.... even if others may not understand or agree with that...
I am not a sausage, churned out by some college of thought or sausage factory, - I am most likely not going to conform to the normal ways of doing things, only because I see that the normal ways of doing things hasn't really gotten us anywhere... after all these years we are in decline, so then, everything we have done and the way we have done it has taken us to that place, so if we want a different result than what we already have, we' re just going to have to do it differently to get a different result...and that's me in a nutshell...I want to see growth, and alive and active -thriving ....huge Salvo churches...I'm sick of tired, worn out, politically correct and ineffective salvo churches.... doing things coz that's the way we've always done it....
oh come on, get over it. and get on with it, we are here to evangelise the world and win 1000's for Christ....
it's just my opinion.
