A different Spirit....

I have been pondering giving up this blogger thing, mainly because it takes so much time...but for now will try and keep it up to date.

Things have been moving steady at our church, in fact we are growing well at the minute, pretty much doubling in size, and that is awesome. We've started viewing our Mainly Music program as a congregation and that means we have 60 unsaved new people in our church and that is awesome, I would encourage other corps mainly music salvo programs to view it that way, it will lift your vision if you do.

We now have 2 congregations,one on Sunday with an average attendance of 70, (starting the next Sunday one soon)... one congregation on Tuesdays (Mainly Music)and starting the next one on a Wednesday soon ...we are planning an afternoon children's congregation for after school, as well, which will take our congregations to 5 .... our vision at this stage is for 10.

we are pumped at Craigieburn - Salvos 3064.

Prayer team prays on Monday nights, asking God to fill every seat every week over and over.
Small groups are growing, with 2 new Youth Gateway Groups commencing this week.
Our Internet Cafe, No. 35 is now attracting close to an average of 200 people per week in outreach ministry.
Our Kids church, 3064 kids, is growing and pretty much tripled in size this year. from 10 kids to 30 kids, each Sunday.

there is a buzz in the air and things are on the move...

but more than anything I pray that your church will grow also, and impact your neck of the woods for the Lord, as we are here, it is hard work, but things are happening and we so love God for it.

The big deal for us at the moment is found in NUMBERS 13 and 14 where we see that Caleb had a different spirit and because of that, he got to inherit the promised land...we are a church with a different spirit in place, and we are going to inherit the promised land here in Craigieburn.

and that is AWESOME.
