I am not a Grasshopper !!!

It's been a good week and had it's fair share of challenges, some of which were quite disturbing, but all that to say that I think we are on the verge of breakthrough, as a church and in my own personal life....for every time we start moving forwards, there are struggles....whether you believe that or not, is your choice, but I am a bit of believer that the modern day church is involved in battle, that the kingdom of darkness needs to be attacked and overcome and passive or impartial opposition to it, will not win the day....that being more than a conqueror involves something more than a passive "she'll be right"kind of attitude.

actually I hold to the fact that we need to go kicking, screaming, and head on at the darkness around us, when light is turned on in a dark room... the darkness is immediately eliminated..the light invades the dark and that's how I see the Christian walk... invading, eliminating and removing.... so when the lights go on in a church (vision) and the "AHA" moment, is experienced, darkness just vanishes.... and I also believe that sometimes the darkness tries to fight back.....pushing the analogy a bit here, but we are in a battle and we should not expect it to be a piece of cake all the time.

Our leadership guys this week discussed the fact about not being a people who shrink back to what once was, or what we already know or have already experienced. (Hebrews 10) and not to look at ourselves as inferior grasshoppers against our enemy...(Numbers 13) God has given us victory and we need to make choice, to walk in that victory and regardless of what the darkness tries to throw at us along the way, we are children of light....and our church will win because of that very point.

so our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities... and unseen forces of power in the dark...(Ephesians 6) so the more we live in the light...obviously the dark will struggle against us. Hallelujah. and guess what ? Light always wins over dark. Try holding onto the night in the morning....

I am not a grasshopper, I am a light carrier.... I pray we will all be that more and more...in this Army...we need -"Darkness attacking, Sin destroying, Abuse anialating....Christian Soldiers" who are living torches of the power of the Holy Spirit... (Nah, I am not one of those freaky off the planet christians), I am just trying to get a point accross...it's time to start shining the light and stop hiding in the shadows.
